Raipur News: The Railways will implement a new train timetable starting January 1. This change has been made to accommodate railway infrastructure and development work. Under the new system, the timings of 55 express trains and 8 passenger trains will be changed.

New Railway Timetable Chhattisgarh: Indian Railways has decided to make major changes to train timetables from January 1, the first day of the new year. This change has been made to strengthen the railway infrastructure and meet future technological needs. The previous timetable was often disrupted due to track repairs, expansion of new lines, and improvements to the signaling system, and this new timetable has been prepared to address these problems. A total of 63 trains will be affected by this change, including 55 express trains and 8 passenger trains.

New Railway Timetable for New Year

The new railway timetable will be implemented from January 1st. The new timetable has been developed keeping in mind infrastructure and operational considerations. Express train timings will be changed by 10 to 25 minutes, while passenger train timings will be changed by 5 to 20 minutes. A total of 55 express and 8 passenger trains will be rescheduled. The railway administration has advised passengers to plan their journeys according to the new timetable. This change has been made to improve operations and increase passenger convenience.

Changes in the timings of these 8 passenger trains

Important passenger trains originating from stations like Ambikapur, Gondia, and Itwari will now run on a new schedule. Regarding passenger trains, the timings of eight major trains have been changed. For example, the Nainpur-Chhindwara passenger train will now run one hour behind its previous schedule. The Gondia-Katangi MEMU passenger train has been advanced by 10 minutes. The timings of MEMU trains originating from Ambikapur have also been increased by 10 minutes. The railway administration has clarified that these changes have been made to improve passenger convenience and ensure punctuality. Passengers are advised to check the updated schedule before commencing their journey from January 1. Furthermore, the speeds of 28 trains operating on the South East Central Railway, including 11 express trains and 17 passenger trains, have been increased, reducing their departure and arrival times by approximately 340 minutes.
