BRS Hits Back at CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: BRS leaders on Wednesday said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was indulging in personal attacks on the party’s leadership as he was unable to bear the exposure of his incompetence and failure to secure Telangana’s rightful share of river waters.

In their response to Revanth Reddy’s speech in Kodangal, where he bitterly attacked the BRS leadership, aprty senior leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao said the Chief Minister in an attempt to save face was indulging in using abusive language against former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

“When arguments fail and facts vanish, personal abuse becomes the last refuge of bankrupt politics. When there is no vision for governance, no answers, on promises, and no respect for democratic discourse, mudslinging becomes the easiest escape,” Harish Rao stated in his post on X.

Rama Rao in his post on X platform stated that the Chief Minister was indulging in irrelevant rhetoric as the BRS started exposing him on the issue of water sharing with Andhra Pradesh.

“Making useless vows and running away without keeping them suits you and it is etched on your back. We shall continue to expose the Congress not only at public meetings, but also in the Legislative Assembly. Since it is the question of the state’s interests we have fought and won. We are not the one to just sit and watch and continue to question your decisions,” he stated.
