Developer Dark Point Games, the team behind Achilles: Legends Untold, has announced its next project — Brightfall, an open world, roguelite, horror adventure for up to four players.

Check out the debut trailer below:

Set on a mysterious and ever-shifting Celtic island, you play solo or in co-op to survive its spooky threats. It’s a combination of exploration, crafting, and survival, with random elements meaning you’ll have a slightly different experience each time.

You need to use light to stave off any hostile forces, and the world will dynamically react to your light sources.

You start from the beginning again, but any new skills, upgrades, and equipment for subsequent runs, so there’s some permanent progression to be had here.

It looks and sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it? The game is planned for a PC release in 2026, but console versions, including PS5, are also in the works.

What do you make of Brightfall? Tell us in the comments section below.
