Leading a multinational team of young innovators, Mahroosh introduced AgriGuard.AI, an advanced platform designed to revolutionize sustainable farming. The tool harnesses the power of satellite imagery and soil data analytics to give smallholder farmers real-time insights into soil health, crop yields, and climate-smart practices. What sets it apart is its ability to link farmers with carbon credit markets, turning eco-friendly farming into a source of income.
Competing against hundreds of teams from across the globe, AgriGuard.AI stood out for its balance of cutting-edge AI and practical usability. Mahroosh’s technical leadership played a pivotal role, she prototyped the platform using Glide, allowing farmers to visualize complex AI-driven recommendations in a simple, user-friendly format.
Speaking about her vision, Mahroosh said that the goal was to make technology not just powerful, but practical for farmers who are directly battling the effects of climate change. By enabling everyday decision-making through data-driven insights, AgriGuard.AI empowers farmers to both adapt to and mitigate the climate crisis.
