“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens – we are humans, and we are Americans.”

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish gained the Song of the Year Grammy for Wildflower, and she or he used her acceptance speech to advocate for immigrants, too.

The 24-year-old singer – who was joined on stage by her brother, Finneas O’Connell – stated: “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land.”

Billie added: “It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I just feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter.”

Earlier within the night, Olivia Dean described herself because the “product of bravery” after successful the Best New Artist Grammy.

The award ceremony was hosted by comedian Trevor Noah and featured performances from the likes of Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, and Sabrina Carpenter.
