Artist in Recovery is my poetry assortment printed by Lionstower in November 2022. But it’s coming again dwelling to me, and I’m publishing it beneath its authentic title.
The title was initially conceived as Woman as Artist and at its coronary heart, the gathering is that this nonetheless. Nothing essentially modified with a change to the title. Except, maybe, my very own pleasure. The assortment was conceived by means of the method of matrescence, and it underpins my perspective and angle in direction of life and creativity. It is known as a journey of a girl from one type to one other, from maiden to mom, by means of the darkish forest of ignorance, led solely by love.
After having been disenfranchised by the efforts of the writer, I lastly determined to claw again the rights to the ebook. Happily, all of it labored out simply for each of us!
I’m in the method of going over the fabric one final time, and of making new paintings for the ebook.
The tentative launch for the version is July/August 2023.
Hot on the heels of Woman as Artist might be a brand new assortment. Its working title is Ocean Elements, and that one is shaping up in all types of unusual and delightful methods. It’ll be re-titled earlier than launch, so keep tuned for extra information on that rating.
